Settlement Services International/Access Working Group

Commencing from 5th August 2022, ZSIC will be working with Settlement Services International (SSI) and their sister Company ACCESS Group, Brisbane QLD region, to implement and enhance their cultural capabilities through cultural consultation and engagement, and strategic planning.

Over a twelve-month period, from August 2022 to August 2023, ZSIC will be exploring and creating new cultural pathways of authentic consultation and engagement strategies with SSI/ACCESS Group, that will see their Reconciliation Action Plan form meaningful and sustainable relationships with local Original Custodians of the greater Brisbane region.

SSI/ACCESS Working Group was established by Nicole Beaver, SSI Indigenous Inclusion & Reconciliation Lead, early 2022 and engaged ZSIC to assist in bringing SSI’s National RAP commitments to fruition with ACCESS Group, in genuine partnership with the greater Brisbane Original Custodians and residing family clan groups.
