MVICSS - Manning Valley Indigenous Community Support Services

ZSIC was recently invited to work with Manning Valley Indigenous Community Support Services – MVICSS. MVICSS are a developing and emerging support services provider for the Indigenous community, based in Taree NSW. MVICSS that currently offer a number of services to the Taree community, with plans of growth and development, focusing on Indigenous Youth.

Our carefully structured workshops are designed to help guide all attendees on the journey of exploring and embracing specific and relevant Indigenous topics, to empower them with greater foundational knowledge and understanding of the many ways Indigenous culture can be experienced, managed and nurtured in the workplace for maximising harmony and productivity.

ZSIC developed and delivered three unique cultural induction training packages, delivered over 5 days as 3 separate workshops:

Workshop One – 2 Days: Indigenous Board Induction Training
Workshop Two – 2 Days: Indigenous Executive Team Induction Training
Workshop Three – 1 Day: Indigenous Staff Induction Training

Workshops One and Two for Indigenous Board Induction Training and Indigenous Executive Team Induction Training were cultural induction training packages focused on specific management areas, delivered in two sessions, each over two days, and encompassed cultural strategies, insights, mentoring and coaching – all led by Original Custodial facilitator Zeke Shaw.

The 1 day workshop for Indigenous Staff Induction Training was also led by Original Custodial facilitator Zeke Shaw to train and support MVICSS Indigenous staff on the following areas:
